The maples listed in this section have demonstrated invasive tendencies
and we suggest that caution be used when planting them, especially, near
field edges, wooded areas, or other natural habitats that it could invade.

Ornamental Features: Winter interest, flowers, fruit, fall

Remarks: Good for narrow greenbelts; multi- or single-stem;
will require pruning to accommodate pedestrian or vehicular traffic beneath
drooping lower branches.
Persistent seeds provide winter interest; white to yellow fragrant flowers
in spring.
